I interrupted Jeffy’s bathing. He is quite fastidious and his short coat is always impeccable. Lucy and Jagger have much longer fur, especially Jagger of course, and fortunately they’re both crazy about being combed, producing large amounts of fur. Jeffy is insulted if you try to comb him. Recently I sneaked in a few light strokes of the comb while he was sleeping and was surprised to get almost no hair at all, really just a tiny bit of downy fuzz. So apparently he doesn’t need my help with grooming. You will note, however, a very light coating of dark fuzz on my blanket…
